I’d Rather Die Trying.

Walk beside me and I’ll venture into the depths of hell.

“I wish to have no connection with any ship that does not sail fast for I intend to go in harm’s way.” – John Paul Jones, Captain in the Continental Navy, American Revolutionary War.

I don’t want to walk alone. Nothing drags me deeper into the mire than to walk by myself.

Who will lift me up when I fall?1Ecclesiastes 4:9

Who will keep me warm in the storm?2Ecclesiastes 4:10

Who will help me prevail when superior forces besiege me?3Ecclesiastes 4:11

Yet, if I must, I can walk alone, for their is One who never leaves me.4Psalm 23

Do I walk alone?

Think hard before you answer.

I will suffer more damage if you join and leave than if you had never joined me at all.
